GreenEDGE enters two teams for debut appearance

New Australian professional cycling outfit GreenEDGE will field two competitive teams for their racing debut. A GreenEDGE team will be joined by a second team under the Mitchelton Wineries banner for the Bay Classic starting in Geelong on January 1. Six-time Classic winner Robbie McEwen and defending champion Matt Goss will head GreenEDGE.

Commonwealth Games road race gold medallist Allan Davis will spearhead the Mitchelton Wineries outfit. The Classic from January 1 to 4 will be run in conjunction with the sixth annual Amy's Ride - in memory of Australian cyclist Amy Gillett to help promote road safety for cyclists.
